Where yesterday seemed to be more of an introduction to what the course consisted of, today was full-steam ahead focus on news. We started at 8:30 with our first shorthand session. I think I like Teeline. The afternoon was spent practicing and learning to write short news articles based on different sources. That was difficult.
Yesterday when Roberta left the room, Rach said something along the lines of: ''I want her to be my mum.''
Immediately when Roberta came back in she said something like: ''That's the end of me being all mumsy.''
Today it's been like a warm day so Roberta has put the fecal fan on the number one setting. I'm expecting hotter days - I assume that fan's setting will be turned up and faeces will start flying. May have to invest in an umbrella, anorak or parasol before that time.
As this is the first post I don't really know what else to say. I'm anticipating something more interesting from the rest of the group. We're still at that stage where we're getting to know each other. Maybe this will enlighten me on what you're thinking about or whatever.
