Opinion: Snapchat the next big thing in journalism

Snapchat, the video sharing app, is to become one of the most important tools in a journalist's armour as publications realise the benefit of using all forms of media in order to reach their audiences. In particular, it will allow magazines and newspapers to reach the 19-25 age range who are statistically the least likely to read print. The obvious issue with Snapchat is the fact that it disappears as soon as it has been opened, however given today's information heavy world it is unlikely that people will wish to revisit news.
