It's odd to think that this time last week I was just getting to grips with the fact that I would be waking up at 5:45 every morning to take the commute down to London for the journalism course. Several days on, I'm used to the early morning rush, what tube stations are a nightmare and wether or not I want to pack myself an extra sandwich for the day ahead. With my trusty laptop by my side, what can go wrong?
Well, as it turns out, part of being a journalist is allowing things to go wrong and knowing how to pick yourself up and turn it around so that thing never went wrong in the first place. It's a good way to think; always keep moving, always keep on your toes and do your best.
I am one week in. Just one week. I'll let you know if I've managed to stay afloat in the meantime.
