I had to begin my final blog with a bit of Babs, she's kept us all going and provided much comfort over the last nine weeks.
It feels so strange that the course has finally come to an end. I can't believe I'm actually going to miss it. However vocalising emotion has never been something I enjoy so I am going to use the work of TV journalistic icon Carrie Bradshaw.
It must be noted that Carrie isn't a great journalist: she never takes notes, always talks about herself, always writes in the first person and has no contacts except her three best friends.
But to her credit, she does have a lovely way with closing lines, so I'm stealing hers from the very last episode:
"Later that day I got to thinking about relationships. There are those that open you up to something new and exotic, those that are old and familiar, those that bring up lots of questions, those that bring you somewhere unexpected, those that bring you far from where you started, and those that bring you back. But the most exciting, challenging and significant relationship of all is the one you have with yourself. And if you find someone to love the you you love, well, that's just fabulous."
It's probably not all that relevant in retrospect, so I'll just say this: thanks for everything PMA, it's been amazing.
