Day 2

We’re already planning the content for our magazine and we’ve been allocated sectors for research.  Seaside, here we come...

We also got into news writing and wrote our first 50-word news story today. The first news task was actually a bit of a relief, as I was initially picturing something along the lines of being sent out to the world to find leads. I think that will happen tomorrow.

Today we also started shorthand which already felt like a welcome break from everything else, even though I found myself forgetting the alphabet during the first speed development test. After J comes... H? Surely it’s L then?

I’ve always thought that I have potential to be a workaholic, but I think the next few weeks are going to be challenging. I’m sure stocking up on sugary snacks and Red Bull will help.
