On the wrong side of the law

Media law today. Yikes! Defamation, libel, slander. We're up against the lot. Quite terrifying when you stop and think about it really, but we're firing on all cylinders and there's not an awful lot of time to stop and think.

The magazine is starting to take some sort of shape in my head. Although, getting it onto paper is something different altogether. Exactly how many ways can you say the word 'festival'? Let me tell you - not very many.

I've also been nicknamed the 'poo correspondent' on the team, and after chasing a sewage story for the magazine I'm getting to know the big players in the effluent business. Journalism doesn't get much more glamorous than this!

Roberta says there will come a point when we magically transform into journalists. She says we won't know when it happens. I have a funny feeling I still have a little way to go yet, but schmoozing sewage experts is certainly helping!

Until next time, Laura R xx
